Welcome to SightSinger. These Terms of Use explain the rules for using our website, app, and related services.
By using SightSinger, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
SightSinger is provided by SightSinger.app through our website at https://sightsinger.app.
SightSinger is an AI-assisted music tool that helps users turn structured music scores, such as MusicXML files, into singing audio demos, rehearsal tracks, and related outputs.
1. Who we are
SightSinger is provided by SightSinger.app through our website at:
For questions about these Terms, please contact:
2. Using SightSinger
You may use SightSinger only if you are legally able to agree to these Terms.
You agree to use SightSinger in a lawful, respectful, and responsible way.
You must not use SightSinger to create, upload, generate, publish, or share anything that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been breached, or if your use creates legal, technical, security, licensing, or reputational risk for SightSinger, our users, creators, partners, or rights holders.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account and anything that happens under it.
Please keep your login details secure. If you believe your account has been used without permission, contact us as soon as possible.
You must not share, sell, transfer, or misuse your account in a way that avoids payment, credits, usage limits, security controls, or these Terms.
4. Your content
“Your Content” means anything you upload, enter, submit, generate, receive, or provide through SightSinger, including Input and Output.
“Input” means anything you upload, enter, submit, or provide to SightSinger, including scores, MusicXML files, lyrics, prompts, instructions, titles, metadata, and other materials.
“Output” means singing audio, rendered vocals, audio files, previews, generated data, or other materials generated through SightSinger.
You confirm that you have the rights or permission needed to upload and use your Input with SightSinger.
You are responsible for making sure your Input does not infringe anyone else’s copyright, music publishing rights, lyric rights, performance rights, trademark rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights.
5. Licence you give to SightSinger
You keep your rights in Your Content, subject to these Terms and any third-party rights or AI Voice-specific rules that may apply.
By using SightSinger and uploading, entering, submitting, generating, or receiving Your Content, you grant SightSinger.app a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to access, use, host, cache, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, modify, and create derivative technical versions of Your Content as reasonably needed to:
- operate and provide SightSinger;
- process your Input and generate Output;
- store your projects, files, generations, and account history;
- troubleshoot, secure, maintain, and improve the service;
- provide customer support;
- detect abuse, fraud, misuse, security issues, or legal issues;
- comply with legal obligations;
- improve SightSinger’s product quality, workflow, parsing, prompting, user experience, and technical systems;
- promote or demonstrate SightSinger, but only where your content is public, you have given permission, or we otherwise have the right to do so.
This licence allows us to process both your Input and resulting Output where needed to provide and improve the service.
Where permitted by applicable law, your rights, and relevant AI Voice rules, we may use Your Content to improve SightSinger’s artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, scoring, parsing, quality-control, and generation-related systems.
However, we will not use AI Voice files, voicebank files, model files, or generated vocals in a way that violates the applicable AI Voice rules. Some AI Voice rules restrict using generated vocals, generated parameters, or AI Voice outputs to train, fine-tune, clone, sample, or improve another voice synthesis, singing synthesis, voice conversion, or machine learning model. Where such restrictions apply, those restrictions also limit our use.
This licence is royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable where needed to operate the service, and continues for as long as necessary to provide, maintain, improve, protect, or comply with legal obligations relating to the service.
No compensation will be due to you for our use of Your Content as allowed by these Terms.
6. Generated output and your use rights
Subject to these Terms and any AI Voice-specific rules, you may use your generated Output for personal, educational, rehearsal, creative, commercial, and non-commercial purposes.
SightSinger does not claim ownership of your original Input. SightSinger also does not claim copyright ownership over your generated Output, to the extent such rights can legally belong to you.
However, your right to use Output may depend on:
- whether you had the right to use the Input;
- the terms of the selected AI Voice or voicebank;
- the laws in your country;
- whether the Output is similar to protected third-party material;
- whether your use is commercial, public, or private.
You are responsible for checking that your use of any Output is lawful and properly licensed.
7. AI Voices, voicebanks, and creator permissions
In SightSinger, “AI Voice” and “voicebank” generally mean the same thing.
An AI Voice or voicebank may include singing voice model files, model weights, configuration files, dictionaries, phoneme lists, character names, character designs, images, documentation, licence terms, and other related materials. SightSinger users normally do not receive direct access to these underlying files or materials. Users interact with the AI Voice through the SightSinger service and receive generated Output.
SightSinger may provide access to different AI Voices created by independent creators, communities, or rights holders.
Each AI Voice may have its own creator permissions, licence terms, attribution requirements, commercial-use rules, or usage restrictions. These may be shown in the app, on the Credits and AI Voice Permissions page, or through linked original voicebank terms.
By using an AI Voice in SightSinger, you agree to follow these Terms and any AI Voice-specific rules shown for that AI Voice.
Some AI Voices may allow commercial use of generated vocals. Some may require attribution. Some may require you to disclose that the vocal was generated using AI or singing synthesis technology. Some may restrict certain harmful, misleading, unlawful, abusive, rebranded, or rights-infringing uses.
SightSinger users do not receive direct access to AI Voice, voicebank, or model files. You may use the generated audio according to these Terms and the relevant AI Voice rules, but you must not attempt to access, copy, extract, reverse engineer, bypass, modify, redistribute, resell, repackage, or make available any underlying AI Voice, voicebank, model, character asset, configuration, or service component used by SightSinger.
SightSinger may add, remove, disable, replace, limit, or change access to any AI Voice at any time, including where required by the creator, rights holder, licence terms, law, platform policy, or technical reasons.
Where we have received direct permission from a creator or rights holder, we may make the relevant AI Voice available through free plans, paid plans, subscriptions, credits, trials, promotions, or other access models, subject to the applicable permission.
8. Attribution and AI disclosure
Some AI Voices require attribution. Where required, you must credit the AI Voice name, voicebank name, creator, synthesis engine, or other required names in a clear and reasonable way.
Some AI Voices may also require you to disclose that the vocal was generated using AI or singing synthesis technology.
You are responsible for checking the attribution and disclosure requirements shown in the app, on the Credits and AI Voice Permissions page, or in the linked original AI Voice / voicebank terms before publishing or commercially using generated Output.
Even where not strictly required, we recommend that public releases using AI-generated or synthesized vocals are labelled transparently where appropriate.
9. Prohibited uses
You must not use SightSinger or its Output to:
- break the law or encourage illegal activity;
- infringe copyright, music publishing rights, lyric rights, trademark rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other third-party rights;
- impersonate a real person or mislead people into thinking a real person sang something when they did not;
- falsely suggest that an AI Voice creator, voicebank creator, singer, artist, company, rights holder, or public figure endorsed your work;
- falsely present generated vocals as a different voice, character, singer, AI Voice, or identity where the relevant AI Voice rules prohibit this;
- falsely claim ownership of an AI Voice, voicebank, character, model, image, or related material;
- create defamatory, abusive, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or harmful content;
- create violent, pornographic, personally abusive, offensive, fraudulent, or rights-infringing content;
- create misleading political, religious, medical, financial, or legal content;
- create religious or spiritual content that is misleading, exploitative, abusive, or harmful, including content that impersonates religious leaders, falsely claims supernatural authority, manipulates vulnerable people, incites hatred or violence, promotes fraud or abuse, or presents deceptive claims as fact;
- use generated vocals, generated parameters, AI Voice outputs, voicebank outputs, or related materials from SightSinger to train, fine-tune, sample, clone, or improve another AI, singing synthesis, voice synthesis, voice conversion, or machine learning model, unless the relevant AI Voice rules clearly allow it;
- attempt to access, copy, extract, reverse engineer, bypass, modify, redistribute, resell, repackage, or make available any underlying AI Voice, voicebank, model, character asset, configuration, or service component used by SightSinger;
- bypass credits, rate limits, access controls, billing systems, security controls, or usage restrictions;
- overload, scrape, attack, interfere with, or disrupt the service.
For clarity, SightSinger may be used for lawful religious, church, worship, choir, devotional, educational, and community music, provided that your use follows these Terms and the relevant AI Voice rules.
10. Music rights and copyright
SightSinger helps generate singing audio from materials you provide. We do not give you copyright licences for songs, lyrics, arrangements, scores, backing tracks, recordings, or third-party materials that you do not already own or have permission to use.
You are responsible for making sure your uploaded score, lyrics, arrangement, and final use of generated audio are lawful.
For example, if you upload a copyrighted song, arrangement, or lyric, you are responsible for having the necessary rights before using the generated Output publicly or commercially.
SightSinger cannot guarantee that generated Output will be free from third-party claims, especially where your Input includes third-party copyrighted material.
11. Copyright complaints and DMCA-style policy
If you believe that any score, lyric, audio, text, image, video, or other material uploaded, generated, downloaded, or appearing on SightSinger infringes your copyright, you may send us a copyright notice.
Please include the following information:
- identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
- identification of the allegedly infringing material that you want removed or disabled, including where it is located on SightSinger;
- your contact information, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Copyright notices should be sent to:
SightSinger.app
Attn: Copyright Agent

Postal address: [Insert postal address if you want to provide one]
We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material where appropriate.
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, to disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
If your material was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake, you may send us a counter-notice. Your counter-notice should include the information required by applicable law, including:
- identification of the material that was removed or disabled;
- where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled;
- your contact information;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification;
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts where required by applicable law;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Please note that you may be liable for damages if you materially misrepresent that content or activity is infringing, or that removed content was removed by mistake.
12. Credits, subscriptions, and payment
SightSinger may offer free plans, paid subscription plans, usage credits, trial credits, promotions, or other paid features.
Credits and plan limits are shown in the app, pricing page, or account area. We may change pricing, credit amounts, included features, or plan limits from time to time.
Unless stated otherwise:
- credits have no cash value;
- credits cannot be transferred, exchanged, resold, or withdrawn as money;
- unused credits may expire or reset depending on your plan;
- free or trial credits may be changed, limited, reset, or withdrawn;
- paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
Some AI Voices may be available on free plans, paid plans, or both, depending on creator permissions and service design.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Their own terms may also apply.
13. Refunds and cancellation
You can cancel your subscription according to the instructions provided in the app or billing portal.
Unless required by law, payments are generally non-refundable once credits, subscription access, or generation capacity has been provided.
If there is a technical issue that prevents reasonable use of a paid feature, contact us at:
We will review it fairly.
14. Service availability and output quality
SightSinger is an early-stage product. We aim to keep the service useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every score, AI Voice, language, browser, or workflow.
Generated results may vary. Scores may be parsed incorrectly. Lyrics, timing, pronunciation, part splitting, pitch, rhythm, or vocal quality may not always be accurate.
You should review Output before publishing, sharing, relying on, or commercially using it.
15. Changes to the service
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of SightSinger at any time.
This may include changing available features, models, AI Voices, voicebanks, credit rules, pricing, file limits, generation limits, supported formats, or supported languages.
Where reasonable, we will try to give notice of material changes, but this may not always be possible, especially where changes are required for legal, licensing, security, or operational reasons.
16. Intellectual property in SightSinger
SightSinger, including our software, website, interface, design, workflow, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, belongs to SightSinger.app or our licensors.
You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or misuse any part of SightSinger except as allowed by these Terms.
17. Third-party services
SightSinger may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, payment, analytics, storage, AI processing, email, or other functions.
We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, but we will take reasonable steps to use reputable providers.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
18. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
By using SightSinger, you agree that we may process your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
19. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback, you allow us to use that feedback to improve SightSinger without needing to pay you or ask for further permission.
You still own your own original materials, but we may freely use feedback about the service itself.
20. Disclaimer
SightSinger is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we do not provide warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, or that Output will meet your expectations or be suitable for any particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
21. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SightSinger.app will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or reputation.
Our total liability for any claim relating to SightSinger will be limited to the amount you paid to SightSinger in the 3 months before the claim arose, unless the law requires otherwise.
You remain responsible for your Input, your use of generated Output, and any legal claims arising from your use of SightSinger.
22. Indemnity
If your use of SightSinger, your Input, your Output, or your breach of these Terms causes a claim, complaint, loss, cost, or legal issue for SightSinger.app, our partners, AI Voice creators, voicebank creators, or rights holders, you agree to reasonably cooperate and cover resulting losses to the extent allowed by law.
23. Termination
You may stop using SightSinger at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- you breach these Terms;
- your use creates risk for SightSinger, users, creators, partners, or third parties;
- required by law or a rights holder;
- we discontinue the service or a relevant feature.
After termination, some sections of these Terms will continue to apply, including sections about ownership, restrictions, liability, disclaimers, payments, copyright complaints, and disputes.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be posted on our website with the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will try to provide reasonable notice.
By continuing to use SightSinger after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
25. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer laws in your country require otherwise.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
